hi Guys (and Gals?) i brought my Base in for an overall inspection and check up (i have some small issue with some oil leak out of my pressure release hole) everything is working fine. i did see a note in the service report that "check for map update". when i got the bike back, i notice that the throttle at low rev is now buttery smooth (i left it in Race mode since i got the bike), the rough and jerky behavior is completely gone, this bike now purr along at city pace like a kitten, all of that sharpness is still there, just better!!! it was raining on Sat and Sun in Boston, could by any chance that might contribute to the good behavior? Has anyone experience the same thing? |

Is this a full system or slip-on or stock system? What did the tech do to the bike? The person to ask is the tech that worked on the bike and then report what was done to make it better.

Almost the same experience here. Base model, stock exhaust. I prefer sport mode (195lo) in town, but the problem was equally bad with both 195 modes. This was not a new map, it was a mixture adjustment that the dealer is able to do. My bike is about 75% better than it was. It still surges a bit but it's not really any worse than most other new bikes. I'm not aware of any new Panigale stock maps since the bike was introduced. If there is concrete evidence that there is another map, I'd like to see it. |

i spoke to the service guy, me said there was some sort of update that was automatic activated when he plug the bike in, he doesnt really have anymore info on this. i will try to talk to the tech directly next time im there to find out. the improvement was very positive though! |
