Wait until the the exhaust are cooled down and un-bolt them.

Ride the bike and get the exhaust good and hot. Pull into the garage acquire the following:

Vice-grips or comparable plier
Pair of good leather gloves
Bowl of ice cubes
5mm Hex wrench

With the exhaust still hot, dawn the leather gloves, take the 5mm hex head bolt and carefully apply ice cubes to baffles. You will need to hold them onto the baffle so keep your gloves on. Completely melt at least 2 cubes of ice and grip the exhaust tip of the baffle with the pliers. Gently pull and twist the baffle. It should come out. If not apply a penetrating fluid and go out for another ride and repeat. If all else fails, pull like a hell.

You can also put the allen wrench "L" end up into the exhaust to hook around the tip extension and use it like a mini slide hammer to pull it out.

excuse my ignorance to this but i don't know if mine are in or out? dealer installed my exhaust on my tri at the time of first service. this there a way i can tell by looking at it? can someone put up a picture? i am thinking about getting the manifold kit over the winter, but unsure if it worth the money any thoughts?

You can tell quite easily if you look up into the exhaust. See the attached photos

1st is In, 2nd Out and the 3rd is the DB Killer by itself.
