New Termignoni Exhaust header for Carlos Checa's Superbike?

Does this new Termignoni header routing lower temps and increase horsepower/torque? Will this be available for the rest of us who already have the full Termignoni exhaust? Will someone provide a new rear tire hugger to fit? Lots of questions.

Good question. I would be shocked (pleasantly) if Ducati offered this as a replacement given how expensive it would be. I suppose it might be part of a race kit and available as an upgrade?

I know there are other threads on the power loss, or rather lack of a power gain with the full system as opposed to just slip-ons. I would like to see more data though from an independent source where there is no bias. Although I got a decent/good break on the leftover '12 pani S with full-termi exhaust installed, I'm irritated that that there's even a discussion about this whole thing of lack of power gains. I didn't spend the extra money to lose HP and whether you're talking about Akra, Arrow, Yosh, Leo Vince, etc... All of there full systems with appropriate mapping give power gains above just a slip-on. I think Ducati/Termi has to look into this and provide a solution if true. Sorry for the rant.

That looks like it would cook your right leg for street riding might be fine on the track where you're going fast.
