I'm afraid to touch anything because I don't have torque values

I'm just using the fastener values from the streetfighter/1098 books which are are pretty typical, for example the swingarm hub pinch bolts, this is the same component as on the streetfighter. I'll do likewise on the front end etc

I didn't get a manual for my streetfighter for two years and relied on the 1098. Probably not perfect but works so far.

O/m - s/m

Ducati USA realizes how poor the O/M for the 1199 is. They suggested that I contact Customer Service and request an O/M for the 2013 1199 that is scheduled to be much improved. He thought it would be sent complementary. With such a poor O/M, I can't see how they could even be close to having a proper S/M ready for production. The bike was hastily released with a lot of the finer points not taken care of before being released to the public.

dunno how the japanese bikes are, but every OM I've had for ducati, triumph aprilia and mv agusta is pretty worthless.

As soon as the 2013 models come out you can download the new owner's manual free from ducati's website.

I Ride: Panigale Tri-Colore W "Bling!"
You guys fell off your rocker! This owners manual is by far better than any Ducati has come up with before! All previous ones were almost the same for superbikes and monsters alike!

sure, but engine related things, also torque values and such for body components (especially with not having a chassis per se) are what I'm looking for.

This is totally unacceptable.
Shame on you Ducati (again).
Please, can someone from Audi take over Ducati customer services?!

it's kinda funny because xerox has a commercial on with a 1098 riding in a wind tunnel, the xerox guy comes up and talks to the rider about translating the shop manual in portuguese, and it says ducati counts on xerox to handles it's manuals.

BTW> I emailed ducati last week about the manual and they said to contact your dealer!

This past Saturday I spoke to the DNA rep at the Atlanta bike show, this was from DNA not a dealer rep.

He said the shop manual is now available and you can order from your dealer. I told him I was skeptical but I'll give it a try with the dealer where I bought my bike from.

My dealer also says it's only available to technicians online.
