I had mine installed 2 weeks ago on my Tri...hours later I bought a base for a race bike and should've had them install it on the base. brain cramp. vo2, thanks for posting the pics. |

Important note: Unplug the red device when you don't use your bike. I drains the battery even in standby. |

Where is it installed? In the front fairing at the black square plastic recess under windscreen, or under the left side fairing?

Yes do unplug it unless your using a battery tender. The dongles consumption is 40 - 50mA even with the bike in the off position. At that rate your battery will be dead within a week. |

Thanks for putting the pics and stuff up. Had mine installed on Thursday, and downloaded the software but hadn't figured out how to switch it on yet ;-)

Mine too. Had my GPS installed last week. Battery was at 2v when I tried to start it this morning. Last edited by Rhino; September 7th, 2012 at 05:25 AM. |
