legal or otherwise.. at that kind of pace, I'd be more concerned about the other road users. Peeps in cars can be unpredictable at the best of times..

I'd be ok doing this on the autobahn...the majority of people know how to respond to and handle unlimited speed

99% of them know that the rearview mirror is not for make up corrections or drilling in the nose

never (!) had trouble while speeding on the autobahn , maybe because my mille maxed out at 278 km/h...

over here some assholes pull out while doing 45 where 60 is and not even realizing what they're doing.

bottom line - be prepared for the worst and don't expect people to think.

Agreed, still sounded it had some more umph to go.

186mph sounded different in FL on a public road in between potato fields on my '05 gixxer 1K

I'm still trying to get my screen to go blank. It's a bit childish I know, but want to see it even if just the once. Been close,.... but no cigar.

Unfortunately had some bad luck with regards cross winds, and suitable conditions recently. IMHO at that speed having the right conditions/circumstances becomes very important, I'm perhaps a little crazy but not suicidal.

so f-ing true. I remember I was doing 100 on a two lane road and this asshole had the audacity to turn into my lane from a 0 standstill speed. He even signalled! Almost crashed.

I must be looking like I travelled at 20 in his side mirror.

Always-always be careful. do not assume you will be safe even in autobahn.
