Hayden is good for Ducati's business in North America. They would be crazy not to keep him. He interviews well, says nothing but good things about his bike, has mad respect for Ducati and he is competitive.

Now Rossi? He's gotta go...

Awesome I have massive respect for this guy and he has been showing Rossi up most of this season and last season. Good decision by Ducati he knows the bike and should keep developing it this season...

Just curious why everyone is saying Hayden is better than Rossi... I show that for 2012, VR in 9 races has placed better than NH 5 times and is currently higher in the WC.

On a side note, if NH has resigned with Ducati and they have an offer to Crutchlow, does Ducati presume that VR is leaving for Yamaha?

Rossi hasn't signed for '13, rumor is he is talking with yahama? he said he will make the announcement in the august timeframe. which tells me it's up for grabs. if he were commited to ducati he would have commited already with a contract.

Im glad Ducati kept Hayden. The guy gives it his all every day no matter what. Hopefully next year Ducati can give him a bike to fight with the front runners.

I think Rossi is waiting to see what Audi is going to suggest for the future of Ducati. He knows he can go to Yamaha and ride a competitive bike, but I think it wants to finish on a Italian machine being Italian himself. He wants to see what Ducati gives him in the next few races and what Audi says about helping out.

Im hoping for a good show from Hayden and Rossi today at Laguna.
