Weekend Ride in Los Angeles

Just sharing a couple of photos from the weekend in Hwy2 outside LA. A bit of a bummer about the ticket since I've only had the bike 3 weeks (1,000 miles) .......and seeing snow was a bit crazy!

I got pulled over in Pasadena. I saw him in a cross street and he got me right before I was going to jump on the 210 on Lake. When i took my helmet off he said "I'm glad you didn't try to take off"

You must be new around here. The Crest is the biggest speed trap.

Mulholland has been getting that way too, i was stopped on three different times (different rides) because my plates hadnt come in yet.

i was stopped twice because i didnt have a rear reflector below my license plate

Fortunately, no tickets but i never wanted to say i was getting used to seeing red lights in my mirrors

Yeah, that's what I got pulled over for on the picture above.
  1. No rear reflectors
  2. No rear license plate
  3. No driver license (I didn't have it on me while I was riding that day)

I avoid AC, Mulholland and PCH like the plague. Theres been lots of LEO's on 33 lately too.

Bouquet Cyn/Sand Cyn/Litlle Tujunga/Big Tujunga instead. Much fewer patrols.
